Discover the thrill of log rafting at the breathtaking Okutorokyo gorge in Wakayama Prefecture! Known for its exhilarating white-water rapids and stunning scenery, this adventure is a must-try for nature enthusiasts and adrenaline junkies alike.

On May 3rd, our season opener saw around 100 excited participants taking on the Kitayamagawa river aboard traditional rafts made from eight whole cedar trunks. Over the course of 6 kilometers and just over an hour, rafters experienced the rush of navigating past rocks and getting delightfully splashed along the way.

Ready to join in on the fun? Our log rafting tours are available by reservation until the end of September. This adventure is perfect for individuals aged 10 to 75, though please note it’s not suitable for pregnant women or those who have consumed alcohol.

The cost is 6,600 yen ($42) for adults and 3,300 yen for grade-schoolers. Don’t miss out on this unique experience! For more details and to book your spot, visit our website [here](https://www.secure-site.in/ASP/kitayama_lograft/web/index_en.cgi).
